- The finish on this wheel is achieved through several different phases. The finishing process includes a black powder coat foundation followed by two layers of clear coat, not a one stage enamel. This is the correct way to finish a wheel. They have an absolutely beautiful finish with a superior sheen due to the additional layer of clear coat. Upon completion of powder coating, an injection molded polymer insert is applied to the wheel. This insert is coated using a vacuum metalization process where the evaporated aluminum particles adhere to the polymer and condense to form a uniform layer that has a bright chrome appearance. This state of the art technology provides a refined look for your vehicle.
