The final layer is chrome, which creates a bright cosmetic finish. Once the finish is complete an injection molded polymer insert is applied to the wheel. This insert is coated using a vacuum metallization process where the evaporated aluminum particles adhere to the polymer and condense to form a uniform layer with a bright chrome appearance, giving this wheel a beautiful chrome on chrome appearance.
