- The finish on this wheel is achieved through several different phases. The finishing process begins with a black powder coat foundation. This is followed by a translucent silver which allows the black foundation to become visible through the silver, producing the color hyper black. Also called hyper silver. The final stage consists of two layers of clear coat. Once the finish is complete an injection molded polymer insert is applied to the wheel. This insert is coated using a vacuum metallization process where the evaporated aluminum particles adhere to the polymer and condense to form a uniform layer with a bright chrome appearance, giving this wheel a beautiful chrome on chrome appearance.
